Update on Mission: Centro!

*Anxious*

*Anxious*

Konbanwa minna-san! Genki desu ka?

Minna-san might be wondering how things are going concerning MK’s “Mission:Centro“. This was a “mission” that MK started when she needed a cell phone. She decided that since times are hard for her parents lately, she would work to earn the phone that she wants herself, for a change. So now, MK is going to update minna-san on the status of her mission.

MKs new cell phone! ^.^

MK's new cell phone! ^.^

OK, so the last time MK posted about this mission, she was still working to earn the money needed to buy the phone. But MK is happy to tell minna-san that she has bought a red Palm Centro!

Unfortunately, since I bought it online, I still have to wait a little less than a week before it arrives. But I’m already SO excited! Within the next week I should recieve a call from the Post Office telling me that my package has arrived! \[^o^]/~*

On Friday, I got a letter with all kinds of cool formal stuff [*v*]{Ooooh!). And then I had to go to the Post Office to sign some paper concerning the package. All of this is causing MK to become even more anxious about this package arriving!

OK, so as soon as MK recieves her package, she will either film the unboxing or take many pictures to show minna-san!

Until then, God bless minna-san!

Sayou!

Only a little while longer…

*Searching Ebay*

*Searching Ebay*

Hora minna-san!~♥

MK here. At the moment I’m searching for good deals on the Palm Centro online. I need to find a good deal by the end of this week. That’s why I’m starting to pick up spead with this. I’m also getting really excited (>^ω^<)♥ *purrrr*

*searches for about half an hour*

Wow, this is harder than I thought! I mean, I don’t mind the color so much, as long as it’s not black, but… it’s hard to make the decision. I don’t shop online often, and definitely not on my own like this, so I really don’t have any experience.

Well, MK will leave for now. I’ve got a pretty busy day ahead of me. I really hope I can blog again later today, but I doubt I’ll have the time to… [-__-]

Sayou!

New Keitai or Used Keitai? [.__.]

Hora minna-san! Genki desu ka? (How are you doing?) It is MK who is currently enjoying a very late, but yummy lunch.

Unfortunately, thanks to my wonderfully awesome job [‾x‾]|||, when I get home from school I have very little time before I have to rush off to work. (MK-chan –> ~[[[\[‘x’]/) That’s why I’m trying to make good use of every single free moment of my time.

Oh! If minna-san is wondering what exactly those two red parentheses at the beginning of the post mean, I’m going to tell you. I believe I’ve used them once before but now I’m going to officially state the purpose of these parentheses ().

*ahem*

When you see those, it means that the word/phase between them is the meaning of the word/phrase that came before.

Yup… (Minna-san= (.__.){That’s it?)   MK= [-__-] *nods*)

Anyway… hmmm, what should I speak of today? …

Oh! Quick notice to any Teen-Fortress.com users/members: I know that I haven’t responded to comments on the forums yet and I apologize, I plan to respond today.

Anyway, so, just now, I was just surfing around looking for something interesting to read and I came across this article:

http://green.msn.com/Shopping/cell-phones-face-off-powered-by-greenzer/?gt1=45002

Hmmm…

It initially caught my attention because it’s about buying cellphones and as a couple of you might know (if you’ve read my previous posts), I’m currently saving to buy my “dream keitai” (dream cellphone). I plan to buy it at Ebay.com, so I have the option of buying a used one. Until now I was pretty sure I’d just buy a brand new one, but right now, I’m considering buying used.

Old used phones (wow, I didnt know some of these existed anymore 0.0)

Old used phones (wow, I didn't know some of these existed anymore 0.0)

Hmmm… OK, first let’s look at the pros:

  • As is obvious, one of the main pros of buying used, is the lower price. Just one or two little scratches on the phone can sometimes mean a whole $50 less! And like the phone in the article, used phones can be a whole $100 less if you look hard enough.
  • As is stressed in the article, by buying used, one is helping to keep the environment clean. And I think that’s always a good thing.

But of course there are also some cons to buying used:

  • One thing that I would really, really miss if I were to buy used is the unpacking of the phone. This is something that’s very simple, but really does make a difference to MK. She loves the smell of the plastic and the cardboard as the box is opened. She loves to see the shiny, new item, fresh out of the plastic/Styrofoam wrapping. For me, it’s a very rear (since MK doesn’t get to buy electronics very often – although she wish she could [-__-]) and special moment. And I think this particular time, since I actually worked really hard for this phone, the unwrapping/-packing would be especially rewarding. I’m actually planning to record the unwrapping/-packing on video and maybe even show minna-san. So, yes, the unwrapping/-packing is a really big deal for MK.
  • Sometimes the item ends up being broken in some way or missing certain components. It’s normally easier to trust a big company like Palm than an amateur online salesman. (though on Ebay, even amateurs can sell new products)

Yep, so those are a couple of the pros and cons. But MK must leave minna-san right about now. I’m gonna go have QTime now.

Oh, for those who might be wondering:

My “dream keitai” would be (well it’s not exactly my dream phone, there are some things that could be improved about it): The Palm Centro!

The Centro from Palm*

The Centro from Palm*

To read more about MK’s desperate struggle towards the first phone that will truly belong to her (so far she’s only had hand-me-downs), search “keitai”.

MK’s getting very excited by now. Only a couple more weeks! [^.^]!

Ok, enough Keitai Craziness!!!

Ohayou minna-san! It is quite early in the morning for MK to be blogging, ne? Well, I start school a little later than usual today. So I have a few minutes to spare. That’s why this post is gonna be pretty short. [-_-]

MK has (as you can see by the amount of posts about MK’s *dream keitai*) been thinking a whole lot about her dream phone lately. I’m very very anxious about finally having it! But the thing is: I’m probably not getting it until more than two months from now! It really stinks having to wait all this time while saving up for a phone you’re so eager about.

But MK has realized something. When one is looking forward to something and thinks about it ALL THE TIME, it seems to take longer than if you just carry on as usual and not count the seconds! And this is what MK has been doing [u_u].

For this reason, I’m going to try my best to postpone my thoughts and worries and dreams about my dream phone until at least a month from when I plan to buy it. I must try to forget that I’m getting anything special for my birthday ([O.O] How am I gonna do that!?) so that time will fly as usual and before I know it, my birthday (and my dream phone) will be right around the corner! [^.^]

*Sachi-chan rushes to school*

*rushes to school*

So MK will give minna-san a break from all the talk and commotion about this phone.[-_-]

Minna-san –> \[*v*]/{HALLELUIAH!)♪♫

*Hehehe* Well, MK must now rush to school!

Buh Bye!
